March 12, 2011 – Annual Shareholders and Board of Directors Meetings
On March 12, 2011, the Annual Shareholders Meeting was conducted. The shareholders re-elected the current slate of Board members to serve in 2011: Ronny Dudley; Fred T. Finney; Charles A. Welch; William D. White; and James A. Willson, II. Following the Shareholders Meeting the Board of Directors met. The Board re-elected Charles A. Welch as Chairman and William D. White as President/CEO.

April 28, 2011 – New Positions Announced
President/CEO William D. White announced Richard L. Clegg, P.E. was promoted to the position of Regional Manager of the Augusta office. Richard succeeds James Willson who resigned. Subsequently, Mr. Willson’s position as Corporate Secretary was filled by Alicia M. Mack.

June 27, 2011 – GMA Conference
SPE hosted a reception at the Georgia Municipal Association’s Annual conference in Savannah, GA on June 27, 2011. The reception was well attended by numerous elected officials, city staff, and state agencies.
