June 25, 2009 – GMA Conference

SPE hosted a reception at the Georgia Municipal Association’s Annual conference in Savannah, GA on June 21, 2009. The reception was well attended by numerous elected officials, city staff, and state agencies.

June 15, 2009 – Augusta office moves

The Augusta office moved to a new location on June 1, 2009 in nearby Evans, GA about 5 miles from Augusta. The phone numbers remain the same. Click here for Directions to the office.

April 6, 2009 - Albany office moves

The Albany office moved to a new building that Stevenson & Palmer purchased and renovated. It has a Leesburg address but is located about 1/2 mile north of the Albany city limits. The phone numbers remain the same.

March 26, 2009 – New South Chapter ESOP Company of the Year

The New South Chapter ESOP Association, consisting of 5 southeastern states, named SPE as the ESOP Company of the Year. Shown in the picture of the award ceremony at the Savannah conference is the Chapter Administrator, Dee Robbins, Stevenson & Palmer President Bill White, and the National ESOP Association President, Michael Keeling.

March 20-21, 2009 – Annual Shareholders and Board of Directors Meetings

On March 20, 14 of 15 Shareholders were in attendance at the Annual Shareholders Meeting. They re-elected the current slate of Board members to serve in 2009: Ronny Dudley; Fred T. Finney; Charles A. Welch; William D. White; and James A. Willson, II. On March 21 the Board of Directors met. The Board re-elected Charles A. Welch as Chairman and William D. White as President/CEO.
