| Description:

The City of Hampton, Georgia will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the “Thompson Creek - Pump Station & Force Main - Phase 1”. This includes approximately 250 l.f. of 14” DIP Gravity Sewer, 1,175 l.f. of 10” C909 PVCO & DIP Force Main, One 10 ft. Diameter Duplex Pump Station and Abandon One Duplex Pump Station (convert to a manhole), with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Bids shall be a Lump Sum Price.
The project shall be Substantially Complete within 120 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed of the contract.
The City of Hampton will receive bids until 2:00 p.m. on June 22, 2010 at 17 East Main Street, Hampton, GA 30228. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Copies of the Bidding Documents, Specifications and Drawings may be obtained from the office of Stevenson & Palmer Engineering, Inc., upon non-refundable payment of $100.00.
Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00200 “INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS.”
No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening.
Each Bidder is required to submit a “Bid form”, “Bid Bond”, “Form of Qualification of Bidder”, “Non-Collusion Affidavit” and “Immigration and Security Form” as outlined in Section 00250.
This contract is GEFA funded. The Contractor must comply with: MBE, WBE, & EEO compliance; Davis Bacon and Related Acts; and wage rate determination.
The City of Hampton reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids and to readvertise.
